We recently visited favorite local place of ours in Montclair. Ray’s Luncheonette on Walnut Street is everything you could want in diner. Wonderful staff, cozy old school booths and counter and amazing dishes. And they’ve been doing it for over 40 years.

The difference here is that many of the specials are Mexican dishes highlighting family recipes passed down. We had the Angie’s Arepa this past Saturday and it was so good we almost ordered another. We have also enjoyed breakfast tacos and huevos rancheros. Just add their homemade hot sauce and you’ll be quite happy.
