Curtis Thompson won the Javelin competition at the Olympic Trials. The Men’s Javelin Olympic qualifying rounds are on Wednesday August 4th with the finals on Friday August 6th.

Curtis was born in Trenton and grew up in Florence. He graduated from Florence Township Memorial High School in 2014.

His Team USA bio says that Curtis’ favorite TV show is Fresh-Prince of Bel-Air and he also loves watching pole vaulting. In his down time, he enjoys fishing, watching movies, spending time with friends, going to the beach, traveling, bowling and watching sports.
