Yawn Mower Fall Tour and Video Premiere — “Broke in Brainville”

To say that we love Yawn Mower would be an understatement. Their energy is infectious and, to a person, every one in the band is just lovely.

And, we see them a lot. They played an incredible set at the Sea.Hear.Now festival last month in Asbury Park where our own Jeff Crespi captured them on stage. New fans were certainly made that day.

We met them in Manahawkin for pizza while we were on vacation in Ocean City a while back. There are not many bands that we would drive 40 miles to see in the middle of valuable time off our day jobs. Yawn Mower is one of them.

And, we’ve even met up with them in the wilds of Hawthorne, NJ.

Today, we get the pleasure of premiering their new video, Broke in Brainville! The song perfectly encapsulates the sound of fuzzed out vibe of Yawn Mower. There is not a better example. The video is a montage of the band’s adventures in California. It’s a great little behind-the-scenes look at the fun they get into when on the road. You also might just catch a glimpse of a llama.
