Honah Lee wanted to celebrate their 33 on 45 record release show in a big way so they decided to throw a party at Asbury Lanes and invite their friends Hot Blood, Molly Rhythm, Mikey Erg, Mad Anthony, and Doug Zambon from the Vansaders. I was supposed to cover the sold out Bush show but wanted to be at the Lanes to support my friends. I chose wisely.
Honah Lee is a very cool band out of Trenton made up of Tim, Jim, Dim and Tony G. They are a hard hitting rock-n-roll band with a punk attitude. Their friend Tommy Plural from GTG Records was the master of ceremonies.
The show was a great success. These guys are not just an awesome band but also a bunch of goofballs that love to have fun. For me there is nothing better then watching the expressions on the fans’ faces as they belt out every tune while mixing it up in the crowd with friends and even people they have never met. I really enjoy not only their music but everything they bring to the table. They are standup, down-to-earth guys who appreciate everyone who comes out to support them. Listen to the new record and check them out live to find out for yourself.
